Andrew Bruce Rattray

Andrew in his ninety second year of Chilliwack, British Columbia passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2019.
Time of interment at a later date. Bruce and Julie will be together again at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
Bruce was born in Vegreville, Alberta on June 23, 1928.
Bruce was married to Julie Franchuk on April 12, 1952, they were married for 64 years.
Bruce worked hard in his younger years - he did everything from welding on the Alaskan pipeline standing in water up to his knees to working on the Triumf Project at UBC while he lived in Vancouver. Bruce then accepted a management position at TML, a chainsaw company which took Bruce to Fruitvale, BC and then on to Exeter, Ontario where he retired at the age of 60. Bruce spent his retirement years in Chilliwack where he continued to play hockey into his seventies.
Bruce is survived by his son Darrell, his wife Teresa and granddaughter Marley. Bruce came from a family of 10 children, survived by brother Ab, predeceased by his wife Julie, brothers Charlie, Dave, Donald, William, Jock, Doug, Robert, James and sister Genevieve. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 14. .
