Aloisie Rousova late of Chilliwack, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Chilliwack General Hospital on May 15, 2003 at the age of 92.
Aloisie came to Canada eight years ago to live with her daughter, Milada and son-in-law Wes. She enjoyed living in Canada and spending time with her grandchildren and her friends. Aloisie was a very hardworking woman who enjoyed walking and reading, listening to music, cooking and watching television.
Aloisie is survived by her children, Milada (Wes) Riha of Chilliwack and Miroslav Rous of the Czech Republic; two granddaughters, Zuzana (Randy) Driediger of Revelstoke and Wendy (Mark) Wasylyk of Vernon, and two other grandchildren living in the Czech Republic, Mirka and Vladimir. Also three great-grandchildren, Zeverin, Nikolas and Taya.
Her husband Frantisek Rous predeceased her in 1983.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Henderson’s with Rev. Wayne Wattman officiating.
