It is with a saddened heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, husband and papa, Al Magneison. He was survived by his devoted and loving wife, Gail of 48 years, children Karina, Lisa (Louie) and Tara (Russ) as well as 7 wonderful grandchildren who loved him dearly. Siblings Ross (June), Wendy (Gary) and Karen.
Al worked for many years as a teacher/Principal for the Chilliwack School District. He also worked with student teachers at UVIC, SFU and UFV.
He loved to golf with his friends and cars were one of his passions along with Roman History and gardening. His favourite musicians were Elvis and Roy Orbison and he knew the lyrics for almost every song.
Al loved life and his family always came first. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.
Al's Celebration of Life will be held on September 5th, at 2:00 pm at Kinkora Golf Course.
