Allan Clifford Brew born October 14, 1939 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. It is with great sadness we announce the tragic passing of Allan on December 10, 2004.
Cherished husband of Sheila; beloved father to Rich (Wendy), Angie (Jason), and Russ; dear Poppa to Braxton, Brooklyn, Boston, Julia, Quinten, Caitlyn and Evan.
Predeceased by his father Cliff.
Survived also by his mother Bessie; sister Donna (Gerry) and family; sister Marie (Tom) and family; brother-in-law Lex (Kaija); plus a multitude of business associates and friends, especially Liz and Doug Bowley and those he fondly called the swimming group from his competitive swimming days.
Al was a deeply respected individual in the business, sport and animal care worlds. Columbia Machine Works, Richmond Sockeyes, MacPherson Brown, Chilliwack Chiefs and Richmond Minor Lacrosse all benefited from his hard work, dedication and integrity as he served as President of all of them. He was also a major influence with the Richmond Homeless Cats Society and Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven. He will be sorely missed by Jaz, and running free with Lightning, Molson, Kega, Princess and LaBatt who loved him unconditionally.
