It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our Mother on Sept 21, 2012. Alice was born in Chilliwack, B.C on November 21, 1920, daughter of Jean Pierre and Marie Sache. She was the second youngest of 16 children.
Predeceased by husband Bob Hewer, granddaughter Jodie Briere, and son-in-law Bill Hanna.
Alice is survived by daughters Dale Hanna, Darcy Hewer and Doris Briere (Denis), nine grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren, sister Odylle Cheramy, sister-in-law Dorothea Sache and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alice retired from the City of Port Moody in 1985 and spent her remaining years enjoying her family and friends, doing petit point, cross stitching and sewing. She was a wonderful Mother, Nana and Great Nana. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.
