Alice Fedoruk passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Valleyhaven Guest Home in her 86th year. She was born September 7, 1919 in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan. Alice is survived by her son, Lorne (Janice); grandson, Mark; son, Larry (Debbie); grandchildren Jerimiah, Josh (Melanie) and great grandson, Joshua; brother, Bob (Louise) and children; sister in law, Peggy (Len); brother in law, Fred and sons and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin; sister, Gilbert “Gibby” and parents, Sidonia and Henri.
Alice worked at CGH in the kitchen for 22 years. She loved to crochet, knit and had a great sense of humour. She loved to play with her grandchildren. She was a devoted Mom and Grandma and loved to spend time with her sister Gibby. She will be sadly missed by her dear friends of many years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack; Reverend Doug Ireland officiating. If family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society in Alice’s name.
