Alice passed away peacefully at the Chilliwack General Hospital on Saturday, February 17th, 2018. She was born to Lorenzo and Audrey Maynard on August 6, 1919 in Chilliwack where she lived her entire life.
Alice worked as an LPN as well as serving her community through her church for many years. She went on many medical missions to Jamaica, Mexico and South America. Her last mission to Jamaica was in 2004 at the age of 84. Alice loved travelling around the world with her husband
Wilfred Carter and they made many friends in their travels.
She will be missed by her sister May, Vivian, Beatrice, her brothers Frederick & Donald, her children Phillip (Bev) Mills, Rhonda Mills, Bruce (Versha) Mills and grandchildren Jodi (Rob), Erin (Matt), Ashley (Fiona) Joseph (Bianca) Paul (Lara), Collin (Erin) Amanda (Richard) and 13 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Cooke's Presbysterian Church, February 24th at 2:00pm.
