The family of Alice Burke is heartbroken to announce her sudden passing on January 17th at Chilliwack General Hospital in her 85th year.
Alice lived a full and vibrant life and even on her last night she was out having dinner with wonderful friends. She loved to go out and have fun with the friends she made through the Black Powder Club; many memories were made throughout these years.
With her passing, she leaves to mourn her five children; Glenn, Janice, Randy (Debbie), Joe, Bruce, ten cherished grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, plus so many close and treasured friends. Also mourning her loss is her dear family in Nova Scotia who will surely miss her annual visits.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph in 1981 and most recently, her son-in-law Harald in October 2011.
Life will never be the same without our beautiful and outgoing Mother, Nana, Sister, and friend.
