MEGRATH; Alexander Sandy passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Surrey Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. Left to mourn are his family; son, Donald Megrath (Stephanie); daughter, Dinah Firkus; sister, Eve Elliott; grandchildren: Derek, Michelle and Mackenzie Megrath, Kelsey and Kyle Firkus. A special mention of the McKimmon family of Northern Ireland.
During his lifetime Sandy served 22 years in the Armed Forces where he learned his trade as a heavy equipment operator. Dad was always proud of all that he created. Sandy and his family would like to thank Dr. Kroeze,
Dr. Ong, Dr. Swanson and all of the staff in the south wing of the Surrey Memorial Hospital for all of their care and compassion. At Sandy’s request there will be no funeral or gathering.
