(July 1930 - February 2010)
Alex was born July 22, 1930 in Usedom Wollin, Germany, and became a proud Canadian citizen in 1976.
Alex married Annie in 1951 and, with their two daughters Andrea (Marion) and Barbara, immigrated to Canada in 1958. Three more children, Carl, Frank and Yvonne joined the family once they had settled in Ontario.
Alex was a 40-year member of Local 527, Canada and USA.
Alex and Annie celebrated 59 years of marriage. He was a loving husband and dedicated father and grandfather. The family will remember his loving support always.
As he requested, cremation took place in Surrey, BC. In his last honour, a close family reunion was held on March 3, 2010 at 3:15 pm.
In deep sorrow and deepest mourning, we all love you and will miss you always.
