Babe passed away peacefully at Bradley Centre in Chilliwack on August 31, 2018.
She was born and raised in Chilliwack in 1919 to parents Arthur and Sarah Street and predeceased by brothers Aubrey, Orville and Bert, and sister Norma. She was also predeceased by her first husband, George Northcote and second husband Henri Laponder. Babe is survived by her sister-in-law Eileen and nieces Norma, Debbie and Dee. She enjoyed fishing and rock hounding with George, and gardening and bowling with Henri.
Family and friends would like to thank the caregivers at Birchwood and Bradley Centre for taking good care of Babe the last several years of her life. No service is planned at this time.
