ALBERTUS TEUNIS VERWOERT, late of Chilliwack, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2004 in Chilliwack at the age of 76 years.
Albertus will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Johanna, his children; Marion (Eric) Van Maren of Chilliwack, Elaine (Bernard) Klop, of Chilliwack, Cora (Alfred) van den Brink of Rosedale, and Theresa (John) Romeyn of Chilliwack. He is also survived by eighteen grand children, nine great grand children, his sister Flora (Hans) Visser of Norwich, Ontario and brother Gerrit (Sally) Verwoert of Chilliwack.
A viewing was held from Henderson’s Funeral Home from 7:00 — 8:30 PM on Monday November 8.
Funeral Services were held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9 from the Reformed Congregation in North America with Reverend T.R. Treur Officiating.
Burial followed in the Chilliwack Cemeteries.
Pall Bearers were; Eric Van Maren, Bernard Klop, Alfred van den Brink, John Romeyn, Bert Van Maren, and Hendrick Klop. Honorary Pall Bearers; Gerrit Verwoert and Nigel van den Brink.
