Adolf Alfred Tonn, late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away February 1, 2005 in Chilliwack at the age of 94 years. He was born September 22, 1910 in Newhof, Germany. He was a farmer in Manitoba and moved to Chilliwack in 1954.

Visitation will take place at Henderson’s Funeral Home Friday, Feb. 4th from 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Interment will take place on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chilliwack Cemeteries. Funeral Service to follow at the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Following the service a reception will be held in Henderson’s Tea Room.

He is survived by 8 children: Lawrence (Kathy), Don (Lorraine), Ken (Helga), Delores (Jerry), Margaret (Bill), Richard (Joyce), Gordon (Janice) and Murray (Colleen). He will be sorely missed by his 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sisters Irma Single, and Margaret Mauthe, and his brother Harold Tonn.

He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara of 66 years, his parents, his brothers Reinhold, Bill, and Irwin, and Sisters Martha, Frieda and Hilda.
