Adelene Ocko passed away on September 9, 2002 at Chilliwack General Hospital, at the age of 72 years. She was born January 14, 1930 in Romania.
Adelene is survived by her husband Paul; one son Michael Eric (Lorraine); grandchildren, Amanda, Derek and Leanne; sisters, Wilma and Elle; and brothers, Rudy, Albert and Otto.
She was predeceased by her parents, Heinrich and Olga Giese.
Adelene liked cooking and baking, and also enjoyed gardening. She loved being outdoors, enjoying nature with her dog Tippy.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2002 at Christ Lutheran Church, 9460 Charles St., Chilliwack. Reverend Pam Pederson officiating. Interment will follow at Chilliwack Cemeteries on Little Mountain.
Pallbearers will be Albert Lux, Arthur Feske, Chris Gendeman, and Bill Smith.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
