July 5, 1930 - Jan. 20, 2012

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ada Schindle. She passed away on January 20, 2012 in the Vancouver General Hospital with family by her side after a courageous fight to survive complications after a brain aneurysm on November 10, 2011.

For everyone that knew Ada, she was an amazing woman. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Ada was an extremely hard worker her entire life. Always energetic and always on the go, from raising her family, to her career, to the volunteering that she was involved in throughout our community. Ada was dedicated to serving others her entire life. Ada will be greatly missed by many, but not forgotten.

Ada is survived by her five children, Lynn (Lionel St. Amand), Susan (Craig Schindle), Sharon Spires, Brian Prachnau, Patte (Bert Tuytel). Her grandchildren: Kyle, Greg St. Amand, Mitchell, Brittlene Schindle, Emilie Spires, and Bryce, Vanessa, and Grant Tuytel; her Brother James Beastall (Leona). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Ada was predeceased by her husband Edward Schindle and the father of her children Wallace Prachnau.

A memorial service will be held in Ada’s honour on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home. Please join the family for tea following the service. Interment will be held in the Spring when the flowers start to bloom. Family and friends are invited to attend.

If desired, donations can be made in Ada’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.

Ada will be remembered with love by many as she touched so many lives. May she now rest in peace.
