Passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2007 at the age of 86. John is survived by his loving wife Marion, son Malcolm and daughter Carol; sister Doris, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the 10th of 12 children. Born Dec. 8th, 1920 to Herb and Corinne Culbert in Estavan Sakatchewan. Moved to B.C. at the age of 19 and married Marion in 1942. He was in the Air Force for 3 years. John worked as a machinist and welder for 45 years. He retired in Chilliwack in 1987. His favourite hobby was camping, fishing, playing the mouth organ and lots of parties with friends and relatives.
