Notice of Public Review and Comment Forest Operations Map
Notice is hereby given, that Leq’a:mel Forestry Limited Partnership (LFLP), holder of Non- Replaceable Forest License A79504 is seeking public review and comment on Forest Operations Map (FOM) ID#2249, which is covered by Forest Stewardship Plan #643. The review and comment period for FOM ID #2249 will be available for 30 days, from May 2nd, 2025 to June 1st, 2025. This FOM includes two cut blocks and the associated roads, located within the East Harrison and West Harrison Forest Development Units in the Chilliwack Natural Resource District.
The FOM can be viewed at https://fom.nrs.gov.bc.ca/public/projects by searching for Leq’a:mel Forestry Limited Partnership using the ‘Find’ function. Alternatively, the FOM information is available for in-person viewing at #200 - 41350 Lougheed Highway, Deroche, BC, V0M 1G0 during business hours. Comments can be submitted at any time during the 30-day period through https://fom.nrs.gov.bc.ca/public/projects or mailed to the address noted above. Please reference the FOM ID when submitting comments.
Following the review and comment period, this FOM may be used to apply for a Road Permit or Cutting Permit for a 3-year period.
