TO DOWNTOWN PROPERTY OWNERS LIABLE TO BE SPECIALLY CHARGED FOR THE CONTINUATION OF THE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF CHILLIWACK “BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA BYLAW 2024, NO. 5383”
WHEREAS it is the intention of the Downtown Chilliwack Business Improvement Association (BIA) to proceed with the Business Promotion Scheme for the benefit of a specified business area located in the downtown area of the City of Chilliwack;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the City of Chilliwack has been requested by the BIA to approve the Business Promotion Scheme within the Business Improvement Area of the City of Chilliwack to enable the BIA to conduct the Business Promotion Scheme.
TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the City of Chilliwack intends to proceed with the Business Promotion Scheme for the Business Improvement Area located within the downtown area of the City pursuant to the provisions of Section 215 of the Community Charter. The Business Improvement Area shall be comprised of those parcels of land lying within Areas “A” and “B” as shown on the map below.
A copy of “Business Improvement Area Bylaw 2024, No. 5383” and legislation pertaining to the Notice are available for inspection during normal business hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm), Monday through Friday, except holidays, in the Legislative Services Department, City Hall, 8550 Young Road, Chilliwack BC.
