Young Road was closed Thursday night in both directions for repairs to the rail crossing.
City of Chilliwack put out a notification on Twitter about a nighttime road closure to let folks plan accordingly for the evening hours.
Young Road will be closed in both directions at the rail crossing tonight from 10 pm – 6 am while CN Rail completes repairs. Please plan accordingly and use the Yale Road overpass or Broadway Road crossing during this time.

Young Road was closed in both directions on Feb. 27 at the rail crossing, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order for CN Rail crews to undertake repairs.
