Cultus Lake Park residents will be heading to a community meeting Feb. 11 to offer feedback on proposed water system upgrading.

Attendees will get insight into plans for the Cultus Lake Water System Integration Project, impacting both the Cultus Lake Park and Parkview water systems, say officials with Fraser Valley Regional District.

Topics will include the integration of Cultus and Parkview systems, construction of a new water reservoir, upgrading water mains and extra connections.

"Should these upgrades go ahead, Cultus Lake Park residents will benefit from increased levels of fire protection, improved water quality and significantly better system reliability," according to the FVRD release.

"The goal of this meeting is to provide information on how your water may improve and associated financial impacts, as well as to get your opinion."
