Agassiz RCMP looking for Ian Gerald Mountain

A B.C.-wide warrant has been issued for a prolific offender police identify as a Cultus Lake resident

Ian Gerald Mountain, 33, is wanted for possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon with ammunition, driving while prohibited, and failure to comply with recognizance.

Mountain has an extensive criminal record for various offences including theft, drug trafficking, and assault.

Police warn the public to not approach or attempt to apprehend Mountain if he is spotted. Instead, immediately call 911.

Ian Gerald Mountain is described as an Indigenous male; height 168 centimetres (5’6”); weight 56 kilograms (123 lbs); with brown eyes and black hair.

Mountain has a tattoo of a cross and “RIP” on his left hand.

Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Ian Gerald Mountain is urged to contact the Agassiz RCMP at 604-796-2211 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
