Firefighters responded to a house fire on Henderson Avenue near Cook Street in Chilliwack shortly after 12 a.m. Wednesday.



Firefighters responded to a house fire on Henderson Avenue near Cook Street in Chilliwack shortly after 12 a.m. Wednesday.

When crews arrived on scene, the bungalow was fully engulfed in flames.

A neighbour who called 9-1-1 said he could hear popping sounds from the house next door. It is believed no one was home at the time of the fire.

Chilliwack fire officials are investigating, but don’t believe the fire was accidental.
