Firefighters had to extricate the driver of a westbound vehicle that crashed on Chilliwack Lake Road Thursday evening.



One person was injured Thursday night after the vehicle he was driving left the road near the Tamihi campground on Chilliwack Lake Road and flipped on its roof.

Firefighters had to free the trapped driver, who was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Chilliwack River Valley and Chilliwack Fire Departments as well as Chilliwack RCMP & BCAS responded to the incident which occurred around 8:30 p.m.

There is no word on the cause.
