The parking lot of the Chilliwack Walmart will see a vaccination clinic set up on Wednesday, July 21.

Fraser Health officials say vaccines against COVID-19 will be administered to eligible individuals while they last, and the immunization clinic is being held in partnership with the First Nations Health Authority.

“While it remains critical that we continue following public health orders and guidance, receiving COVID-19 vaccine helps put the COVID-19 pandemic behind us,” according to the new release.

All residents of Fraser Health, 12 and up are welcome, including those without personal health numbers and/or people who are not residents of B.C. While anyone in need of a first dose will be prioritized, those who qualify for a second dose, meaning eight weeks or more since the first dose, and the clinic has capacity, their name will be added to a wait list.

They will be notified by text to return later that day providing there is enough vaccine supply.

Look for the the Fraser Health tents from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday in the parking lot 8249 Eagle Landing Parkway, Chilliwack.
