Southbound traffic on Young Road south of Cheam Avenue in Chilliwack was disrupted after a two-vehicle collision.

Emergency responders were called to after 1 p.m.

Both southbound lanes were blocked but vehicles could get through as a flat-bed tow truck dealt with both cars, which were severely damaged.

It is unknown how serious any injuries were but B.C. Ambulance Paramedics were on the scene attending to at least two people.

More details to come if they become available.
