Two pedestrians in hospital after being struck on Chilliwack street

Both people were conscious and moving while being treated by paramedics

Two people were taken to hospital Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle while they were crossing Main Street in downtown Chilliwack.

The incident occurred around 11 a.m. outside Locks Pharmacy.

There’s no word on the extent of the injuries, however both victims remained on the ground until they were lifted on to stretchers by paramedics.

Police are investigating.
