Truck versus car crash Tuesday on Vedder Road in Chilliwack

Incident led to serious congestion in the area south of Keith Wilson Road

A motor vehicle incident caused traffic congestion in the Vedder Crossing area Tuesday afternoon.

A truck collided with a car some time after noon in the southbound lanes of Vedder Road south of Keith Wilson Road.

Chilliwack Fire Department crews were on scene with BC Ambulance paramedics before 2 p.m.

There was no immediate report on the extent of injuries.

Traffic in the area remained extremely congested by 2 p.m.
