Flooding washed out part of Liumchen Creek Forest Services Road, prompting an evacuation order for one property, at 48701 Tamihi Road.

“Due to further flooding risk of the access road, the property, and the forecasted weather event, Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) issued the evacuation order in the Chilliwack River Valley.”

The evacuation order was issued Nov. 30 for all dwellings on the large rural property on Tamihi Road in the FVRD, due to immediate danger to “life safety and health” posed by the third atmospheric river event in the past two weeks.
