After a video circulating on social media showed individuals dancing with guns, Surrey RCMP reports that the firearms have been seized.
Police saw the video on Thursday (Aug. 1) that was claiming to have been filmed in Surrey showing several individuals dancing at an event, with a few individuals, including the camera person, bearing large guns. The video appears to have been filmed outdoors in a tent.

“Public safety is our top priority, and our officers worked quickly to seize the firearms in question.”

Later that same day, investigators were able to contact the owners of the property and seize the firearms from the owner, at about 5:30 p.m.
Police state that the individuals in the video have not been located yet while the investigation continues.
