Have you seen this bear?
It's an extremely heavy stone sculpture made of granite that has great sentimental value to a Chilliwack family.
The Book Man owner Amber Shot said the special sculpture was stolen from outside their home in the Corbould Park area of Chilliwack on Thursday.
"My husband carved it in his early 20s in Paris during a stone sculpting apprenticeship, and it has sat safely outside of his home ever since.
"It is very heavy, and would require a very strong person, or two people to move it."
She's reaching out to her community to see if anyone knows anything about the bear.
"If you see it, or hear of it, please let me know. Fingers crossed!"
They're hoping it gets returned, no questions asked.
"It's a long shot, but I have faith in my community."
