Traffic was at a standstill on Lickman Road north of South Sumas Road in Chilliwack Wednesday morning after a semi hit a pole and sheared it off.
The pole was left hanging by the wires, and BC Hydro crews were reportedly on the scene by 8 a.m.
The crash happened on the west side of Lickman in front of Visscher Lumber, and just south of the school École La Vérendrye.
