RCMP searching for suspect in campsite assault

Two men got into an altercation at the Gil Road campground. RCMP say one assaulted the other, leaving him with serious injuries.

RCMP are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted another man at a Chilliwack-area campground.

Around 9 a.m. on Aug. 27, the 55-year-old victim confronted the suspect for driving erratically around the Gill Road campground.

The suspect then allegedly hit him on the head, causing serious injuries.

RCMP describe the suspect as six-feet-tall with a slim build, dark and short clean-cut hair, a goatee and red shirt.

He may have gone by the name of T.J.
