RCMP issue warning of dangerous child sex offender living in Chilliwack

Chilliwack RCMP are warning the public of a dangerous sex offender who recently moved to the Chilliwack area.

James Leo Gracie, also known as Finn McInnis, 61, who “poses a high risk to re-offend,” completed his long-term supervision order on April 17, 2021, said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Rail.

He has been convicted of sexual offences against children including sexual assault and forcible confinement.

Gracie is described as a Caucasian male, 6’2” tall and weighing 176 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair. Tattoos include: right arm Slim Jim and a rattlesnake; left arm a heart with leaves; upper left arm a heart.

The Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment RCMP issued the public interest notification under section 8(2)(m) of the Privacy Act of Canada on Friday, July 23, 2021.
