Poverty reduction on the agenda for Chilliwack network of service providers

A deep dive into Chilliwack poverty through the lens of food security and employment supports gets underway on Thursday, Feb. 24.

The virtual event on poverty reduction is on offer from the Chilliwack Healthier Community network, geared to service providers but the public is welcome to register, and listen in.

Registration deadline for the information and networking event is Wednesday, Feb. 23, 11:30 a.m.

The program of engaging speakers can be found here.

On example of a speaker is the first, Anne Todd, speaking on: ‘The Evidence for Food Security as a Poverty Reduction Game Changer.’ Todd is a project leader in wellness programing for Fraser Health.

CHC is a network focused on affordable/accessible housing, mental health, addictions, poverty reduction and cultural safety and humility.
