Pizza parlour bandit in Chilliwack bear-sprayed victims

A Dominos Pizza employee and a customer were bear-sprayed during a robbery Wednesday night

A pizza parlour bandit in Chilliwack bear-sprayed a customer and a store employee before fleeing on foot with the loot.

“A robbery with this type of violence is of particular concern and is being fully investigated,” RCMP Const. Tracy Wolbeck said.

A lone male entered the Dominos Pizza outlet on Vedder Road at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s standing about six feet tall. He was wearing dark jeans, a beige-clooured rain jacket and a baseball cap worn backwards at the time of the robbery.

He is also described as having dark, bushy eyebrows.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
