Chilliwack hasn’t seen green grass since Christmas Eve, which was when the first snowfall of the season came.

According to Environment Canada, freezing rain is in the forecast for Thursday, Jan. 6.

Temperatures are expected to get up to 8 C by Sunday, Jan. 9. That day is also supposed to be the only sunny day of the week as rain is expected for the rest of the coming week, starting Friday, Jan. 7 and continuing up until at least Wednesday, Jan. 12, with the only non-rainy day being Sunday, Jan. 9.
