Planning to get out on Highway 1 tonight?
There could be delays or detours for Fraser Valley motorists as highway paving work is slated to start overnight near Abbotsford on July 13.
The westbound lane of Highway 1 will see paving operations underway between exit 90 at McCallum Road, and exit 83 at Mt. Lehman Road, for a total of 3.6 kilometres.
Since the left lane will be blocked, motorists are being told to expect delays.
The road work starts on Monday, July 13 at 9 p.m, and goes until Tuesday, July 14 at 5 a.m.
“Follow construction and detour signs,” according to the alert on Drive BC early Monday.
