One man in hospital after early-morning stabbing

Chilliwack RCMP were called out to a stabbing early Tuesday morning, arresting one man.

An early morning stabbing has left one man in hospital and another in custody.

The incident took place at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 5800 block of Vedder Road.

RCMP Cst. Cynthia Kershaw said the victim was lucky to not have any major organs damaged, but he’s being kept in hospital for observation.

One man was arrested and RCMP are investigating. Charges are pending.
