No injuries after car lands in Chilliwack ditch

Driver misses turn on rainy road, lands in water-filled ditch at Prest and First in Chilliwack

No one was injured when a car left the road and landed in a ditch in Chilliwack Thursday morning.

The male driver was travelling east along First Avenue where the road turns north into Prest Road when he lost control of his car and landed in a water-filled ditch. It was raining at the time of the collision.

He was lucky. One witness said he didn’t appear to have a scratch on him.

Traffic was not affected, and no other vehicles were involved.
