Motorcycle thieves arrested near Bridal Falls

Two people allegedly trying to sell stolen motorcycles were arrested Sunday afternoon.

Chilliwack RCMP nabbed a pair of criminal entrepreneurs Sunday afternoon, hindering their attempt to sell stolen motorcycles.

A man and woman are alleged to have taken the motorcycles from a store in Kamloops. They set up shot at a location near Bridal Falls, and must have done something to raise red flags, with someone alerting police.

By the time the RCMP arrived, one of the motorcycles was gone. The other one was seized and returned to its Kamloops home. The pair, both 31 years old, were arrested. They've since been released, but they face a future court date on charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000.
