Minor injuries after icy three-vehicle crash on Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge

Police say three vehicles were involved Thursday night

Traffic came to a halt along the Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge Thursday night after multi-vehicle crash blocked both lanes.

According to Agassiz RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Mike Sargent, a vehicle traveling northbound at about 6:30 p.m. crashed into a concrete barrier after losing control.

Another vehicle traveling behind this vehicle swerved and stroked a vehicle coming south. Witnesses say several roads, including the bridge, were coated with black ice due to the frigid conditions settling in for the evening.

B.C. Ambulance Services attended the crash and treated drivers for minor injuries.
