It’s a chance to quiz the mayor of Chilliwack over lunch.

The Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce is presenting ‘Lunch with The Mayor’ on May 11 at noon.

Mayor Ken Popove will deliver an overview of recent actions taken at city hall to improve Chilliwack, before opening up the Q&A session to questions from attendees.

“Here is your chance to get to know the Mayor and ask any questions you may have!” according to the invite from the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce.

Popove was first elected as a city councillor in December 2011, and re-elected in 2014. Popove was voted in as mayor in October 2018.

Maintaining “great community services, low taxes, and an unbeatable quality of life” were part of his campaign promises before he took the big chair.

“We are looking forward to hosting Mayor Popove and welcome your questions.”

A light lunch will be included at the May 11 chamber event, to be held at 46115 Yale Road.

Tickets $5. Registration required.
