One lane of Vedder Road traffic at Promontory/Watson in Chilliwack will be closed for most of Tuesday, June 16, for concrete pouring at a nearby development.

Concrete pumper trucks will be going to and from the site until about 6 p.m. at Vedder and Watson Road.

The Skynest development team is inviting the public to ‘The Big Pour Event’ to watch the concrete pouring from across the street, in the Vedder Crossing Plaza parking lot, behind Fast Gas. Refreshments will be on offer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Trucks are expected to pour a total of 40,000 square feet of concrete throughout the day.

The event was earlier scheduled for last Saturday but had to be postponed until Tuesday.
