Knife-wielding man robs 7-Eleven store

A knife-wielding man robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store on Vedder Road early Wednesday morning.

A knife-wielding man robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store on Vedder Road early Wednesday morning.

Police said the lone suspect entered the store at about 5 a.m., pulled a knife and demanded money and a variety of store items.

The suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot toward Storey Avenue.

The suspect was described as 5’11” to 6 feet tall wearing a light-grey jacket and light-grey track pants. He also had an olive-coloured backpack and was wearing black running shoes.
