A crash on Highway 1 has slowed traffic Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 30 in the westbound lanes of the highway where a two vehicles collided and a car went into the median east of Prest Road.

According to Chilliwack Fire Department on scene, no one was injured in the crash.

The collision appears to be near Banford Road and traffic is backed up in the area.

The cable barrier running down the centre of the median was damaged and maintenance crews were called to the scene to repair it.
