Unclear when highway will be re-opened following major vehicle incident

Highway 1 has been closed in both directions at Spuzzum Creek Road after a major incident earlier this afternoon.

The location of the closure is 18 kilometres east of Yale, and an assessment is currently in progress.

The estimated time of re-opening is not available.
