Those affected by the recent flood damage in the District of Kent could be qualified for Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) from the government.

The Village of Harrison Hot Springs announced on Tuesday that residents in the areas affected by major flooding between Jan. 31 and Feb. 2 may apply for DFA using an online application at http://www.gov.bc.ca/disasterfinancialassistance.

On the website, users will be guided through a step-by-step application. There is also general information about disaster recovery available on the same site.
