A teen learned the hard way to be wary of what you post on social media sites after almost 300 people showed up at his grad party Friday night on Ford Road.
He told police he had planned a graduation party in the barn for 40, but things were out of control already when more than a couple hundred showed up.
Several cabs were called and the party was shut down.
The owner told police he had underestimated the power of Facebook.
Local RCMP are reminding 2011 grads to be responsible and safe as they celebrate this graduation season.
