Whatever you do, don't kick those pumpkins to the curb.

Unless you already pay monthly for the city yard trimmings pickup, that is.

Chilliwack residents basically have ways to dispatch their pumpkins when they're done with their big orange orbs from Halloween.

First option is for all Chilliwack residents to drop off up to a maximum of six pumpkins for free, at the Parr Road Green Depot for composting. It's just north of the Yale Road overpass.

The second option is only for subscribers of the city's Curbside Yard Trimmings collection service. They can add pumpkins to their curbside yard waste on the regular collection day from November 1-5.
