Firefighters battle vacant-house blaze

Crews from two local fire halls worked quickly to put out a fire in a vacant two-story home.

Firefighters from two halls doused a blaze in a vacant house early Tuesday morning.

Shortly after midnight, crews from halls one and four were called to the 9500 block of Windsor Street where they found a two-story house with flames visible from the front.

They quickly doused the fire, with no injuries reported.

The Chilliwack Fire Department is investigating the cause.
